First Steps To Fitness
We are currently developing a Programme called First Step to Fitness which aims to get you to take action about your health and to enable cope with the stresses and strains of modern-day living. The Programme is aimed at those people who have a desire to make healthy changes in their lifestyles but presently lack the confidence or motivation to attend a conventional gym or fitness programmes. Our approach will be the same as our established therapy programmes which is to show you the potential, then let you make up your own mind.
The Programme will enable you to make permanent changes in your lifestyle and is built on the concept of a healthy mind – a healthy body and focuses on combating stress, learning to relax, the importance of food and nutrition, emotional health and exercise as a means to remaining healthy.
Over the coming months we will develop and round out the Programme to a complete package. We have just launched the first part of this which is a Ladies’ De-stress, Relax and Tone Programme aimed at ladies who are feeling under pressure with family life or work situations. It is an hour-length Programme which run by our female Yoga Therapist, Ramya Sivakumaar and features deep breathing, relaxation techniques and slow primary movements to tone up muscles. We will also be engaging with other key providers to bring you a best-of-breed package will hopefully meet your needs and expectations.
